New Hanover County, NC – The Brothers of the Omicron Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi

Phi Fraternity, Inc. announce a special 90th Charter Anniversary Weekend celebration,

themed “Rooted in Service since 1936,” and are inviting the community to save the

dates of December 4 & 5, 2026.

   The anniversary weekend will begin with an elegant Black-Tie Gala on Friday,

December 4, 2026, featuring an evening of fellowship, celebration, and distinction that

honors nearly nine decades of service and leadership. The Gala will highlight the

chapter’s legacy of fraternal brotherhood and community uplift through programmatic

moments, recognitions, and inspirational presentations.

   Festivities will continue on Saturday, December 5, 2026, with a Day Party designed to

extend the spirit of celebration, networking, and camaraderie throughout the weekend.

The Day Party will provide an engaging social atmosphere for members, supporters,

partners, and friends of the fraternity to connect and commemorate this historic

milestone together.

   The Black-Tie Gala will take place at Hotel Ballast, 301 N Water St., Wilmington, NC,

beginning at 6 p.m., with tickets priced at 150 dollars. Additional information on timing,

ticketing, sponsorship opportunities, and special program elements for the Day Party

will be shared in the coming months. Community members and supporters are

encouraged to hold December 4–5, 2026, on their calendars and watch for further
